“Humanity” and only “Humanity” makes the world go around, but reality rings false. For satisfying their ravenous appetite for global hegemony, the so-called world leaders under a false flag of neutrality do not even bother to destroy the priceless happiness of teeming millions where we, peace-loving souls, continually fall prey to the influence of these fanatics resulting in genocide, fratricide, violence, ethnic cleansing, xenophobia and so on. My installation art entitled “Cold Blooded (Murder) Drink,” being a global concern, sheds light on these issues from global perspective. Art has universal language and these problems are global. I drew ‘Swastika’ by the drawing of ants to show the reign of terror and gave a recipe to make this Cold Blooded (Murder) Drink and silence against these heinous crimes is no less than a crime. The pre-filled wine glasses symbolize bloods of innumerable innocent souls as if the perpetrators, the so-called world leaders, sip wine and feel relaxed. Behind this installation art, lies my true intention to portray the tensions, conflicts and distrusts between the power-mongers and peace-loving souls. To inter this flagrant injustice and to enjoy our precious lives to the fullest as a global family, “Humanity” should come to the fore.
